Who We Are.

At Hesperides, we believe in the power of plants, and not just what they do for our planet but also what they do for us as individuals. The recent pandemic is evident of the need for the outdoors, for humanity’s desire to sit back and enjoy the ebb and flow, the waxing and waning of nature as the bird’s glide on the wind rustling through the trees and the bees buzz in jubilation of a fresh and juicy source of nectar.

Where the internet is ripe with information on plants, designing and all the things in between, it has become incredibly difficult to discern what information is applicable to you and your specific needs. Whether you are a first-time buyer looking for advice or the custodian of what was once a great masterpiece that needs re-invigorating, a garden enthusiast who needs gentle encouragement in the right directions or the new owner of a blank canvas, we are here to help.

Jim Rogan, Director of Horticulture and Garden Design

I created Hesperides to share my passion and skill in horticulture with my clients, taking my well curated expertise and applying them to your gardens. Every year, more and more evidence comes out about the positive impacts of spending time in nature, and that is why I enjoy designing and nurturing beautiful spaces for my clients and the local wildlife to enjoy.

Since joining the industry professionally in 2014, I have worked as Head Gardener, Head of Horticulture and Garden Design, and Horticultural Team Lead and Garden Designer for both commercial companies and private estate clients.
